We had expert teachers: Michael Signer on medieval exegetes, Kevin Hughes illuminating Bonaventura, Maria Dakake and Mahan Mirza patiently explaining the twists and turns of classical Qur’anic interpretation. Is there anything about the Talmud that Aryeh Cohen doesn’t know?
