Abstract
Electric field gradient (EFG) and asymmetry parameter (ν) values have been calculated for all the cationic sites of orthorhombic and tetragonal YBa 2Cu 3O x . Different types of ordering of the oxygen vacancies around the Cul site and different copper charges in this site were considered, as well as the effect of an electron hole. A comparison of experimental and calculated EFG values is proposed.
