Abstract

We present solutions for the late time evolution of cosmological tensor and scalarperturbations in a single-Randall–Sundrum-brane world model. Assuming that the bulk isanti-de Sitter spacetime, the solutions for cosmological perturbations are derived bysumming mode functions in the Poincaré coordinate. The junction conditions imposed atthe moving brane are solved numerically. The recovery of four-dimensional Einstein gravityat late times is shown by solving the five-dimensional perturbations throughout the infinitebulk. We also comment on several possibilities for having deviations from four-dimensionalEinstein gravity.
