Abstract

We present a case of subumbilical tumour seeding of a cystadenocarcinoma 2 years after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Laparotomy revealed a bilateral FIGO stage 1c cystadenocarcinoma of the ovaries with no signs of other metastases. The subumbilical tumour was the result of an inoculation of tumour cells from the previously undetected ovarian cancer during laparascopy.
