Abstract
ABSTRACT The mirror proposed by Douglas Torgerson provides a very strong reflexivity dimension: what can we learn, as part of critical policy studies, while seeing ourselves in the reflection in the mirror, and at the same time separate and contrasted with that image? Among the questions suggested by that metaphor of the mirror, two of them seem particularly significant to me: 1) What is our political agenda? 2) What is our approach to democracy? Considering the mutual correlation between those two questions, in this brief comment I will try to present some clues to a future answer by bringing the temporal perspective into Torgerson’s mirror.
