Abstract

We report a case of postoperative large iris cyst secondary to trabeculectomy treated with Nd:YAG laser iridocystotomy. The patient was subsequently free of discomfort or significant inflammation. This case suggests that large iris cysts may produce corneal decompensation. Laser treatment can collapse the iris cyst without other ocular tissue damage.
