Abstract
AbstractEurope needs a battery industry. Internal combustion is a mastered technology on the old continent, but European companies need to improve their electric vehicle capabilities to reduce the gap to other markets. A collaborative approach is critical to succeeding in this objective, as is creating a European ecosystem that could work as a local supply base for the battery manufacturers and the automotive companies.
