Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo es hallar los instrumentos de derecho internacional privado español que protegen a la mujer víctima de violencia de género. Para ello, se investiga la normativa aplicable que permite conocer a determinados órganos jurisdiccionales que van a aplicar la ley más favorable que no vulnere el orden público internacional. No obstante, siguen existiendo países que autorizan los matrimonios forzosos y el repudio unilateral del marido. En consecuencia, se estudian los mecanismos jurídicos para evitar la violencia de género en estos casos.
