Abstract

This research article aims to carry out a theoretical and epistemological analysis of the insufficiencies of the professional pedagogical overcoming that teachers at Higher Pedagogical Schools in Angola and specifically in the province of Cuanza Norte go through, aiming to propose a group of actions that allow a coherent contribution in professional pedagogical overcoming to raise the level of professional performance. A descriptive study with a qualitative approach using theoretical and empirical methods and the appropriate data collection techniques such as participant observation, questionnaire survey and interview in which the insufficient number of prepared teachers was diagnosed and the lack of strategies in policies contextualized to reality. Scientific arguments are presented to respond to the needs for overcoming Pedagogical Higher Education Schools in current conditions in Angola.
