Las formas de la tragedia y la redención. Algunas reflexiones acerca de la idea de “derrota” de los proyectos revolucionarios en la obra de Juan Carlos Portantiero en su exilio en México (1975-1983)

Abstract

The work intends to investigate the way in which Juan Carlos Portantiero processed the idea of defeat of the revolutionary projects in his Mexican exile. More specifically, it seeks to account for what were the theoretical, conceptual and political operations through which the author abandoned revolutionary positions and instead embraced the ideas of socialism and democracy as the fundamental pillars since the end of the years 70 'of his future political and intellectual projects. To do this, the work reviews its production in the form of essays and academic works reconstructing both the political and intellectual context in which this process takes place.
