Abstract
The Association of American Universities has released the results of its Campus Climate Survey on Sexual Assault and Sexual Misconduct. The survey collected data from 27 higher education institutions at the end of spring semester 2015 and was conducted to provide accurate measures of sexual misconduct and violence at higher education institutions — as reported by students. More than 150,000 students participated in the study. The primary objective of the survey, as stated by the AAU, was to “provide participating institutions of higher education with information to inform their policies to prevent and respond to sexual assault and misconduct.”
