Abstract
This paper is devoted to the optimal decay estimates of solution for two dimensional (2D) magneto-micropolar equations with only micro-rotational dissipation and magnetic diffusion. Using the properties of heat operator, the optimal L∞-decay estimate for magnetic field b is obtained. Furthermore, using this estimate, we establish the optimal L2-decay estimates for velocity field u and micro-rotational field w, which significantly improve the previous decay results in this direction.
