Abstract

Problems of flexure of rectangular plates (slabs) of compressible and incompressible materials are considered in the framework of the plane physically and geometrically nonlinear theory of elasticity. Boundary conditions of problems are preseoted for simply supported and cantilever plates, referred to a curvilinear material coordinate system. The method of a small parameter in combination with the method of complex potentials is used to solve the problems.
