Abstract

Since the first ACOG committee opinion published in 2007 encouraging LARCs as safe and appropriate contraceptive methods for most women and adolescents, there has been a slow and steady increase in LARC use at Kaiser Permanente Northern California (KPNC). In order to document the inconsistencies in IUD practices, a survey was sent to KPNC sites with teen pregnancy prevention programs.
