Abstract

In order to transfer the Slims Cendana library website application and all of its data to the Slims Bulian application. The xampp program is used on a local server to complete this migration procedure. The waterfall technique is employed in this study to gather requirements for the migration, develop a design, execute the plan, and assess the migration's effectiveness. The challenge in this study is to transfer tens of thousands of data from Slims Cendana, which uses one database structure and one programming language, to Slims Bulian. The challenge encountered during migration is during the implementation phase, namely in determining a quick and simple approach for the migration process. The research's outputs are instructions for moving all data and applications from Slims Cendana to Slims Bulian. The five steps of the migration process are as follows first, examining the server with the minimum requirements; second transferring the Slims Cendana database to the server with the minimum requirements for Slims Bulian; third extracting the Slims Bulian master file to the server root directory; four installing Slims Bulian; and five verifying that the data in Slims Bulian and Slims Cendana are identical.
