Abstract

A report on an on farm meeting given by Neil Chesterton MRCVS held as part of the DEFRA Cattle Health Initiative earlier this year. Neil Chesterton is a practising vet from New Zealand who specialises in lameness, and especially the influence of cow behaviour on lameness. Not only does he treat lame cows but commonly gives seminars and carries out consultancies to investigate lameness problems.
