Abstract

Aim: Nuclear A-type lamins (Lamin A/C) play structural and functional roles in many cell types. We have recently shown that lamin A/C promote the activation of naïve T-cells. Since both innate and acquired immune responses regulate atherosclerosis, here we investigated whether lamin A/C expression in immune cells affects disease development.
