Development and ChangeVolume 10, Issue 2 p. 233-257 Labour Conflicts under the Second Peronist Regime, Argentina 1973-76 Elizabeth Jelin, Elizabeth Jelin Elizabeth Jelin, an Argentine sociologist, is currently the director of CEDES (Centro de Estudios de Estado y Sociedad) in Buenos Aires, and coordinator of The CLACSO Committee on the Labour Movement. She has done research on occupational structures and on the labour movements in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
