Abstract
The Toulouse area : an area of bullfighting tradition with a variable and ill defined geography. Bullfighting corresponds both to a social reality and a space dimension in south-west Europe. This paper looks at the case of the neighbouring Toulouse region. The bullfighting reality of this place can hardly escape the dynamics of the bullfighting projects of the mundillo actors on the local scale, but acknowledging the judicial area of Spanish bullfight, and doing so, the permanency of a regional afición. The evolving frame of the Toulouse area produces both geography and also stakes of local development.
