Abstract
The region or the loose link in the joint management of agriculture : the Midi-Pyrénées case. Analysis of the relations between the Administration and the agriculturists entitled to represent their profession. These relations are the corner stone of joint management : they are now weaker at the region's level in spite of the regionalization reforms but they are still operating and efficient at the level of each département. The recent history explains how and why new divisions founded on production branches' allegiances were substituted to the former global professional consensus established in the whole region.
