Abstract
La fonologia applicata degli «edificatori linguistici» nell'URSS negli anni 1920 II nostro articolo analizza un episodio délia storia della fonologia nell'URSS. Al centro della nostra analisi si trova la visione del fonema sviluppata dai linguisti sovietici coinvolti nell'edificazione linguistica (Jakovlev, Polivanov, Suxotin). Il loro approccio risale alla dottrina di Baudouin de Courtenay e di Ščerba trasformandosi in una fonologia pratica ed «applicata». Il nostro articolo rappresenta un tentativo di seguire il rapporto tra le dottrine fonologiche di Baudouin de Courtenay, di Ščerba, di Jakovlev e quella di Troubetzkoy.
