Abstract

In the research about the pray of request and plea in the Catechism of the Catholic Churc (CEE), the author tries to go deeply into the presentation that makes the work in question (in the IV part) in order to clarify themotives, contents and objectives of the speaker in this kind of prayer. The author finds the theme in the widest context, exposed by the CEE of the pray in general as a mystery that is explained as a gift, alliance with God and Communion. Then it is clarified what is in the deep of the request and plea: The conscience of our relationship with God, the trusting humility of the prayer and the wish of searching the Kingdom. This pray flows from the deepness of the groans of the entire creation, the man and the Holy Spirit. These clues show the value of this way of pray, laudable for the straightforward and the wise (foolish?) of this world.
