Abstract
Due to the current crisis of partisan representation in Mexico, political intermediaries, also known as power brokers, have become one of the main connections, particularly in everyday interactions, between political parties and citizens in Mexico City. The main objective of this paper is to describe and analyze: How do these brokers emerge? What are the principal actions they take to strengthen the link between political parties and citizens? Finally, what is the impact of their work on this relationship?
