Abstract

Lately, Knowledge Management Systems has gained a privileged place within organizational systems; its operation starting point is the knowledge “estimation” and its management. That “estimate” provides findings that account the efforts to manage this intangible resource, as well as the obtained results, from which emerges decision-making in terms of policies, procedures and processes that expedite knowledge creation, warehousing, distribution, use and measurement at the organization. Due to difficulties in analyzing and interpreting obtained information from that knowledge “estimation”, a descriptive documentary and purposeful analysis design research type was conducted, using the empirical-analytical method of scientific observation, with the objective to develop a proposal for Knowledge Management representation derived from its current status’ estimation, using knowledge management tools.
