Abstract

The health crisis unleashed by Covid-19 has managed to turn the Peruvian economy into the sixth country with the highest rates of contadio in the world, but at the same time, it has increased labor informality and economic instability, especially in independent workers, who They have found a means of subsistence due to the loss or reduction of their income, many of them related to street vending, without caring about putting their own health at risk. The purpose of the article is to carry out a systematic review of the existing bibliography in the academic world regarding informality in Peru and its relationship with the health emergency that the country is experiencing. The methodology adopted was the systematic bibliographic review, aimed at collecting, comparing and analyzing bibliographic sources from the different academic databases and indexed journals. The conclusions drawn from the research establish that informality has increased in recent years as a result of Covid-19, being a social problem caused by the lack of opportunities, weak public policies and the difficulty in accessing formalization and financing
