Abstract

The present paper describes a part of the educational intervention that was carried out during the research made to obtain the online mode Master’s degree in Learning Strategies, at the Marista University of Guadalajara. The research general objective was «to determine if the sixth grade students involved in this study improved their oral fluency in English language, as a result of continuous and systematic practice of pronunciation by means of the use of information and communication technologies «. I present the use of a logbook, with which we obtained qualitative information about the learning process of ten sixth grade students of the English VI subject at the National High School # 9 «Pedro de Alba». Two types of a logbook are presented, a written one and an auditory one, with which the students worked for fourteen weeks. From the information these logbooks provided, I classify the problems that they faced when independently studying in order to adequately cope with them. Finally, I present the results on whether the objective of the educational intervention was reached or not, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
