Abstract

The study reviews the personal friendship and literary connection between the Valencian writers Joan Fuster and Vicent Andrés Estellés. From the 1950’s onwards, it studies their acquaintance and friendship, the cultural relationships between them, their shared projects, and also all the production they wrote about each other until the eighties. It is also analyzed how Fuster became a literary critic, disseminator and promoter of Estellés’ poetry in different publications and how, reciprocally, the poet incorporated in his poems the figure of the essayist and intellectual, making him even a literary character.
