Abstract
MEMORABILIA OF POLISH EASTERN BORDERLANDS IN THE COLLECTIONS OF THE HOME ARMY MUSEUM – AN OUTLINE OF THE ISSUES The article is devoted to the presentation of Eastern Borderlands memorabilia from the collections of the Home Army Museum in Krakow. The author briefly presents the history of the facility, and then describes the most interesting and characteristic exhibits and archives from the former borderlands, entered into museum inventory books, secured and stored both in the warehouse and exhibition space. The artifacts have been grouped one by one in the following sections: Photography, Prints, Documents, Military, Historical Memorabilia, and Medallions and Phaleristics. The vast majority of these artifacts date back to the interwar period. Some of the documents were created during World War II. The aim of the study is to present the exhibits of the Krakow museum from the eastern territories of the Second Polish Republic, and to encourage further research on this issue.
