Abstract

Kresnayana is a narrative that has a solid foundation in the culture of the Indonesian people. One form of narrative about Sri Krishna is found in the reliefs of Penataran Temple. This epic has very deep values and meanings, one of which is the value of leadership. In order to convey and introduce these values to the younger generation (students), it is necessary to transform the form, from relief to a form of media that is more friendly for teenagers or students. The form chosen is ballet. This form was chosen not only because of the aesthetic aspect, but also considering the facilities and infrastructure available at the school. In order to prepare the ballet, a visual (relief)-text (manuscript) stage and a script-acting stage are needed.
