Abstract

The article deals with the co-operation of different players in the context of regional touristic development processes. Initially the meaning of touristic co-operation is presented, differentiated according to advantages, task areas and obstacles. In the further course the text considers the issue of the success factors of touristic co-operation while the assignment of tasks, the constitution of the co-operative boards, the partners and the self-monitoring in the process are highlighted. Finally — after a brief digression to the field of sustainable tourism — the text gives a set of conclusions how to realize touristic co-operation in practice.
