Abstract
The paper deals with the linguistic analysis of weather forecast texts in Serbian dailies in order to more closely characterize, describe and list the features of this genre from the aspect of expressing time continuity from the past to the future. In the paper, first of all, linguistic means for expressing temporality are apostrophized, as well as dominant units that represent the linguistic potential for expressing the prediction of upcoming weather conditions. The paper will point out some interesting features of the organization of the linguistic and textual structure of this unexplored and interesting genre of text for linguistics through the analysis of the content of this superordinate unit.
