Abstract

Differing emotional expectations of the colleagues are often the reasons for intense dialysis-team-struggles. Bad organisation or fights for influence are most of the time not the real reasons for a team-struggle. Conflicts arise, when some dialysis-team-members like a familiar atmosphere, whereas others prefer strict emotional distance. A solid working relationship can only then develop, after the closeness/distance needs are reasonably resolved.
