Abstract

In this issue of Developmental Cell, Wong etal. (2019) show that the lysosomal GTPase Rab7 regulates inter-mitochondrial contacts to control mitochondrial motility and identify dysregulated inter-mitochondrial tethering as a common theme in Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) type 2 disease.
