Abstract

In this study, we aimed to determine the profiles based on Multiple Intelligence Theory of the students in the freshman grade in the department of Chemistry and in the department of Chemistry Teaching. In order to determine the students’ intelligence fields, Multiple Intelligence Inventory was used. The data was evaluated with SPSS 16.0. As a result, it was found that the intelligence fields of these students in both departments were similar, they had linguistic, logical-mathematical and visuo-spatial intelligence fields as dominant, and that there were significant differences in certain intelligence fields in terms of gender.
