Abstract
The King’s Fund management course for specialist trainee registrars in diabetes and endocrinology is considered the gold standard for diabetologists because it is designed to cover management and leadership issues specific to the specialty. It was introduced three years ago with the blessing and positive feedback of diabetes and endocrinology consultants. The course is intended for diabetes and endocrinology specialist trainee registrars in their final year of training to equip them with leadership and management skills before they become consultants.
