Abstract

The kinetics of photostimulated changes in the layers of non-crystalline chalcogenides AsxS1-x with different compositions has been studied be waveguiding techniques. The nature of both dynamic and irreversible components of photoinduced variations in optical parameters has been analyzed. Possible mechanisms of transformation have been proposed by which reversible (temporal) and irreversible components of changes in film parameters are set. The role a defective microstructure of films including the molecular-phase separation for optical effects have been discussed.
