Abstract

The kinetics of exchange of Cs{sup +}, Sc{sup 3+} and Eu{sup 3+} on crystalline antimonic acid in the H{sup +}-form was studied under particle diffusion control conditions. On the basis of these studies various physical parameters, e.g. the effective diffusion coefficients, activation energies and entropy of activation have been evaluated which give some information regarding the mechanism of ion exchange on the surface of inorganic materials. 32 refs., 5 figs., 2 tabs.
