Abstract

AbstractRate constants for the catalyzed polyaddition reactions of 2,4‐tolylene diisocyanate with poly(ethylene maleate) and poly(ethylene adipate) in dimethyl sulphoxide, acetone, ethyl acetate, dioxane, benzene, and toluene solutions catalyzed by triethylamine, triethyldiamine, tri(tributyltin)isocyanate, stannous chloride, cobaltous naphthenate, and lead naphthenate have been determined according to a scheme of sequential‐parallel reactions using the differential‐integral method. An isokinetic dependence has been found. The dependence between the molecular structure of the catalysts and their catalysing activity is discussed. Parameters of the catalyst activity have been determined.
