AbstractGas Utilities (MIC: 7.4 SIC: 4922 NAIC: 486210)Kinder Morgan Energy Partners is a pipeline transportation and energy storage company. As of Dec 31 2007, Co. owned an interest or operated over 25,000 miles of pipelines and approximately 165 terminals; its pipelines transported natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, carbon dioxide and other products, and its terminals store petroleum products and chemicals and handle bulk materials like coal and petroleum coke . Co. is also a provider of carbon dioxide for oil recovery projects in North America. Co. operates through five segments: Products Pipelines, Natural Gas Pipelines, CO2, Terminals, and Trans Mountain.
