Abstract

In this article, the author considers the problem of financial risks of organizations. In more detail, this topic is revealed by him on the example of PJSC Gazprom. First of all, the author draws attention to the fact that the category of risk can be interpreted in different aspects, and gives examples of the definition of the concept of "risk", including according to GOST. In the process of considering the theoretical aspects of the risk management system, the author identifies the goals that are universal for each company in this system. In addition, the article formulated the concept of economic risks and analyzed their essence. The table compiled by the author indicates the main types of economic risks and their description. In addition, other classifications of types of risk are given and their distinctive features are indicated. Further, the author proceeds to consider the risk management system operating in Gazprom: its main goal and a number of main tasks are indicated. For a clearer understanding, the author presents a risk management scheme at PJSC Gazprom. The author also compiled a risk map of the company to identify its weakest points. For a broader analysis of the selected problem, an assessment is made of the company's maximum exposure to credit risk in the period from 2020 to 2022. the dynamics of credit debt and loans of the company for the same period is analyzed. Based on the data obtained, expressed in the form of tables, the author comes to the conclusion that the need to develop new directions and risk management and risk assessment methods is quite acute in PJSC Gazprom.
