Abstract
In this paper, the kernel degeneration-based boundary element method (BEM) is applied to accelerate solving the low frequency eddy current problems. With ${\mathcal{H}}$ -matrix method as the mathematical framework, the admissible blocks are compressed by the kernel degeneration-based method, while the inadmissible ones are computed and stored as full matrices. The robustness and efficiency of the proposed method are validated by solving the low frequency eddy current problems.
