Abstract
Abstrak: Menulis adalah kemampuan pengarang mengungkapkan ide, gagasan, pikiran sebagai upaya menciptakansebuah produk bernama karya tulis. Cerita perjalanan adalah sepenggal kisah perjalanan atau pengalaman perjalanan yangdimiliki oleh seseorang yang masih sebatas lisan dan pengalaman namun belum mengalami proses perekaman ataupencatatan tertulis sehingga belum ada versi secara tertulisnya. Genre travel writing sebagai sebuah isu mutakhir (terbaru)kebahasaan (2022) merupakan bentuk laporan perjalanan yang memuat unsur tempat, budaya, kuliner, manusia dan segalaaspek asing di wilayah asing dengan perpaduan penulisan imajinasi dan fakta yang mengacu pada prinsip sastraperjalanan. Tujuan penelitian ini secara khusus, a) mengetahui tahap persiapan b) mengetahui tahap pelaksanaan c)mengetahui hasil akhir dari pembelajaran kemampuan menulis cerita perjalanan berbasis genre travel writing menggunakanmedia foto akun Instagram Explore Malang Raya mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia kelas 2019-Adan 2019-B IKIP Budi Utomo Malang melalui model pendekatan deskriptip kualitatif dengan sumber data yang didapat dariteknik observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan selama proses penelitian. Analisis data menunjukkan peningkatan padanilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis mahasiswa yang didapat dari lima aspek penilaian dengan rincian: 1) tulisan sederhana2) bahasa yang jelas 3) tampilan foto 4) unsur fakta 5) nilai manfaat.Kata-kata Kunci: kemampuan menulis, cerita perjalanan, pembelajaran, travel writing, media fotoAbstract: Writing is the ability to express ideas, thought, thought as effort to create a product called written work. A travelstory is a piece of a travel story or travel experience that is owned by someone who is still limited in oral and experience buthas not undergone the process of recording or written recording so that there is no written version yet. Writing the travelgenre as a current (latest) linguistic issues (2022) is a form of travel that include unlimited places, culture, culinary, peopleand all foreign aspects in foreign territories with a combination of writing imagination and facts that refer to the principle oftravel literature. The purpose of this study specially, a) knowing the preparation stage, b) knowing the implementation stage,c) knowing the final result of learning the ability to write travel stories based on the travel writing genre using the Instagramaccount photo media Explore Malang Raya Student of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program class2019-A and 2019-B IKIP Budi Utomo Malang throught a qualitative descriptive approach model with data sources obtainedfrom observation and interview techniques conducted during the research process. Data analysis showed an increase in theaverage score of student’s writing skill obtained from five aspect of detailed assessment: 1) simple writing 2) clear language3) photo display 4) no facts 5) benefit value.
