Abstract
In Indonesia, 85% of premenstrual syndromes are experienced by woman in productive ages. It is not clear what causes premenstrual syndromee, but one factor seems to increase the risk is the imbalance of estrogen and progesterone hormone. Premenstrual syndromees happen more often and disturbing the older the age is, especially age between 30-45 years old. The purpose of this research is to know the differences of Premenstrual syndromee cases between 15-34 years old woman and ≥35 years old woman in Dusun Krajan Desa Sukosari Kecamatan Sukowono Kabupaten Jember. The methods used in this research is comparasion study with cross sectional approach. The subjects in this study were 15-34 years old woman and ≥35 years old woman in Dusun Krajan Desa Sukosari Kecamatan Sukowono Kabupaten Jember which were picked by simple random sampling technique. The result of this study shows on all variable the value of ρ < 0,05 which means that there is difference between premenstrual syndromec in 15-34 years old woman and ≥35 years old woman. The differences between cases caused by some factors, one of them is the hormonal changes before menstruation. Keywords: Premenstrual Syndrome, 15-34 Years Old Woman And ≥35 Years Old Woman
