Abstract

The aim of the activity is to create destination of religious tourism through the arrangement of the Tambawaras temple area with the upakara plant arboretum. This activity is one of the activities of the Regional Partnership Program (PKW) of Sangketan Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency. The method applied to achieve these objectives is through approaches, namely: (1) Needs analysis model, namely activities carried out in accordance with community needs; (2) Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) Model, which involves the community in various aspects ranging from planning, implementation to evaluation; (3) Entrepreneurship Capacity Building (ECB) model, namely increasing the capacity of the entrepreneurial community; (4) Transfer Technology (TT) model, namely the application of appropriate technology; and (5) the Information Technology (IT) model, namely utilizing information technology in marketing. Activities carried out include: socialization, coordination, target setting, the arrangement of the Tambawaras temple landscape and planting of upakara plants as a tourist attraction for religious tourism which is equipped with a collection of upakara plants. The results of the arrangement of the Tambawaras Temple area as a religious tourism attraction, namely the preparation of a garden design containing a garden collection containing upakara plants according to the design that has been made. It can be concluded that through this service activity, it is hoped that the Tambawaras temple area will become the center of the upakara plant arboretum to support the destination of religious tourism.
