Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine: 1) The Role of Honesty Canteen as Efforts to Establish civic disposition; 2) Encouraging and Inhibiting Factors of Efforts to Form civic disposition. This study uses a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive research—data analysis using an interactive analysis model. The conclusions of the research results: 1) the role of the honesty canteen as an effort to form civic disposition, namely: a) The honesty canteen as a vehicle for forming civic dispositions through the process of buying honestly in the honesty canteen, developing policies through shopping and discipline, character building, and evaluation honest canteen traveling; b) Honesty canteen as a vehicle for habituation in civic disposition; 2) Supporting factors include: a) Surakarta Public Prosecutor's Office as the provider of capital for the establishment of an honesty canteen; b) There are shopping procedures and regulations in the honesty canteen; c) Management of honesty canteen by the manager; d) Evaluation of the honesty canteen by the school at the end of each semester. Meanwhile, internal inhibiting factors include a) Lack of awareness and initiative of students in implementing transactions in the honesty canteen; b) The amount of change is limited so that students have difficulty getting the change; c) Lack of ownership to maintain an honesty canteen.
