Abstract
Low energy protons were used to excite K X-rays from thick targets of elements from Sc to Zn. The X-rays were measured with a high-resolution Si(Li) detector calibrated with radioactive standards. The measured K X-ray production cross sections were compared with ECPSSR theory calculations. K β K α ratios were also measured and compared with theory.
