Abstract

Systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is classified as a subset of JIA. Juvenile idiopathic rheumatoid arthritis has unknown etiology, and the involvement of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is rare in the early phase of the disease. In this article, we report a case of a 7-year-old boy with systemic rheumatoid arthritis and involvement of multiple joints, referred to our department for TMJ assessment.
