Abstract

Research Topic: The study highlights the legal rulings related to the family and their role in promoting family security, including rulings concerning the establishment of a secure family and those related to the preservation and continuity of a secure family. Objective: To demonstrate the distinctive nature of the legal rulings concerning the family in Islam in achieving and enhancing family security. Method: The study relied on an analytical inductive approach by tracing and investigating the legal rulings related to the family, analyzing these rulings, and clarifying their role in enhancing family security. Results: The study concluded that Islam shows great concern for the family, emphasizing its preservation and continuity while safeguarding its security and stability to achieve its established goals. It worked to protect family security from two aspects: the aspect of existence through legal rulings related to establishing a secure family in Islam, which includes clarifying the goals and conditions of marriage and the principles of choosing spouses. It also safeguards against non-existence through legal rulings concerning the preservation and continuity of the secure family, which includes attention to spiritual and faith-based security among family members, clarifying the rights among family members, addressing family issues and legislating rulings for that purpose, as well as focusing on the material security of the family. The study recommended the necessity of writing about the role of legal rulings in enhancing other aspects of security, including political, social, intellectual, and economic security. This highlights the distinctiveness of Islamic law in meeting the needs of humanity in all aspects of life.
