Abstract
Abstract: The Jajiya Member of Jaisalmer Formation yielded a foraminiferal assemblage comprising twenty-three species dominated by the family Vaginulinidae. An Oxfordian age is assigned to the foraminiferal assemblage based on the record of some characteristic Oxfordian species reported from different parts of the world. The foraminiferal assemblage suggests an open marine shelf environment of deposition.
