Abstract

This article aims to analyze the theoretical process which comprises Habermas's critique of Aufklarung to the modern project in view of establishing the prerequisites of a theory of communicative and linguistic pragmatics responsible for the resignification of the emancipatory dimension of reason. In the inset of that process, we will examine the ways in which his critique Habermas structure, since the discussion of the philosophy of consciousness to the proposition of the unveiling of the communicative potential of reason and also highlighted the similarities and differences theorists even in the first generation of the Frankfurt School.
